Trends analytics for content planning from Shutterstock has already been mentioned. In general, these recommendations are also relevant for other stock photo sites.

So for now, prioritize photo shoots or creating images on themes like women’s health, Movember*, home improvements, and celebrations such as Halloween and Diwali**.

Women’s health in stock content

• All aspects of women’s health, including breastfeeding, fertility/infertility, IVF, and menopause;
• Medical tools related to cancer, as well as mothers affected by this disease;
• Mammography machines and women undergoing mammograms;
• Cosmetic procedures, including rhinoplasty, Botox, hyaluronic acid injections, dental correction, eyelash extensions, and laser hair removal;
• Concepts depicting new healthcare technologies, for example people using a laptop, tablet, or phone to book a doctor’s appointment.
