Rising Royalties for Footage Sales on Shutterstock
0
The Shutterstock microstock team is happy to announce a substantial increase in royalties for all stock video sales (footage) that occur in December of this year.
We’re raising our footage prices to attract creators of the best stock footage to partner with Shutterstock.
In addition, we’re moving away from a mixed payout structure that combined a percentage model (30%) with fixed amounts ($2.50, $8.00, $13.25) and shifting to a consistent percentage-based model (30%) for all royalties.
Combined with the price increase, this means contributor royalties for footage will grow significantly. You can now earn on Shutterstock up to $23.70 per download of a single HD video clip!
On top of that, we’ve increased our marketing spend to bring more buyers to your outstanding video work.
Do you have a footage collection with more than 500 clips? We’ll help you get it online through our popular stock site! Just email us at [500clips@shutterstock.com](mailto:500clips@shutterstock.com).
As always, if you have any questions, write to us at [footage@shutterstock.com](mailto:footage@shutterstock.com).
Sincerely, The Shutterstock Footage Team
