Use of the keyword “vector” on Dreamstime

2

For those who are just starting their work on the photo bank Dreamstime, I remind you that Dreamstime has introduced a strict regulation on the use of the keyword “vector” when describing works. In the near future, they threatened to remove this keyword from all already uploaded works on the Dreamstime microstock.
The only exception is made for authors whose works include a vector illustration as an additional format. This regulation was introduced due to constant complaints from Dreamstime buyers. Since images that have an additional file in vector format have enough opportunities for Dreamstime buyers to find them in the stock bank search without using the keyword “vector”.
So, now, if you upload to the photo bank and describe your image on Dreamstime, including the keyword “vector” in the list of keywords will not pass if, at the time of the inspector’s review of the work, there is no additional file in vector format.
