Dreamstime’s ‘Vector’ Keyword Restrictions

2

If you’re new to Dreamstime, be aware that the microstock platform has implemented strict rules regarding the use of the keyword ‘vector’ in image descriptions. They have announced plans to remove this keyword from all previously uploaded works on the microstock Dreamstime.

Exceptions apply only to authors whose works include a vector illustration as an additional format. This regulation was introduced due to constant complaints from Dreamstime buyers. Images with an additional vector format file are sufficiently discoverable by stock photo buyers through the stock image bank search without the ‘vector’ keyword.

Therefore, when uploading and describing your image on Dreamstime, including the keyword ‘vector’ will not be accepted unless an additional vector format file is present at the time of the inspector’s review.
