In November of last year, Dreamstime’s administration analyzed the search queries buyers used to find images on their platform.
“These selected queries were frequent and popular at the time but did not yield the desired results for Dreamstime buyers.
Based on the collected data, Dreamstime’s administration compiled two lists. The first list includes keywords from popular buyer queries on Dreamstime that yielded very few results.
The second list contains keywords from queries on Dreamstime that returned no results. Most of these queries consist of multiple keywords, meaning your image must match all the words to appear in the results.
These Dreamstime stock buyer queries are unique.
How can these Dreamstime query lists be useful? How can they help increase your earnings on Dreamstime? These lists offer insights into what is in demand among Dreamstime buyers but underrepresented.
You could say that this is somewhat akin to researching unmet product niches in the Dreamstime photo bank. If you have images in your portfolio that fit these queries, simply add the missing keywords to fully match the buyer’s search.
However, avoid fake or spammy practices; ensure the keywords genuinely match your work’s theme. If you already have images ready but not yet uploaded to the Dreamstime photo bank, analyze which of these photos and illustrations may correspond to the queries in these lists and take this into account when attributing on Dreamstime.
This could lead to additional sales on the Dreamstime.
