Skrill Changes Fees and Pricing

A brief update for all users of the Skrill payment system. On September 12, the company sent out a notice about upcoming fee changes, indicating increases across several services.
The new fee schedule from the former Moneybookers looks as follows:
As we can see, the main changes affect withdrawal fees and in-system transfer fees. For reference, the current cash-out fee is €1.9, and the previous cap for internal transfers within Skrill was €0.5.
By the way, if memory serves, the upper cap for internal transfers used to be €100 about a year ago, after which a promotional cap of €0.5 was introduced.
It seems the promo budgets are over and rebranding isn’t cheap either, so the company needs to ramp up revenue again, especially since internal transfers are, in my view, a major revenue stream for the payment system. It all looks quite logical.
According to the email, the new Skrill fees will take effect within 60 days starting from September 12.
