Stockfresh Library Reaches 2,000,000 Images

This week, a message landed in the inbox from the relatively small stock photo site Stockfresh. It turns out the project is developing quite dynamically rather than fading away like many newcomers do. This is also evident from the occasional sales popping up from my portfolio there. Here’s what they wrote in their email.

“It’s been a while since we shared the latest news about our stock agency, but something so exciting happened that we just had to spread the word!

We now have 2 million images in our library!

We’re thrilled to have reached another milestone in the life of our agency — our collection has recently welcomed its two-millionth image. We currently host work from 2,600 photographers and designers, so whether you want to buy photos that illustrate diverse moments of life or expertly crafted vectors, we certainly have plenty to offer.

By the way, search across our library has been significantly improved. It’s one thing to have a large collection, but finding the right image in such a database is a completely different challenge!

That’s why we’ve worked hard to help you discover the most relevant images. Our collection grows daily, so we had to enhance our search tools and ranking algorithm to deliver the best possible results.

Now, with our powerful new search, you can specify the number of people in an image, whether you need copy space, and of course filter by color. But the real magic happens behind the scenes, and that’s one of the areas we plan to keep improving this year.

Also, search isn’t the only thing we’ve been working on these past few months. Our website is now available in 15 languages, including Romanian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Italian.

We’ve also streamlined the image purchasing process. You can now simply pick what you need, choose a package, and download a ZIP with the file. What could be easier?

And we’ve shipped lots of smaller improvements and fixes, so drop by to see for yourself — and tell us what you think, or even share suggestions!”
